Living Well with the impact of cancer courses (added 24th September 2012)

Penny Brohn Cancer Care provides a unique combination of physical, emotional and spiritual support designed to help patients live well with the impact of cancer, at any stage of their illness and they do this from their National Centre in Bristol.

Penny Brohn has recently received funding to take our Living Well with the impact of cancer course out across England and into the community. Living Well aims to help people better manage the emotional, financial, physical and spiritual impacts of cancer. The approach is patient-centred with emphasis on informed choice, personal control and making sustainable lifestyle improvements.

Each course offers peer support, lifestyle recommendations and self-help tools, focussing on:
· Nutrition
· Exercise
· Relaxation / stress management
· Emotional support
· Managing the impact on close relationships
· Financial / welfare issues

Please click here for details of the course being held at the National Star Centre in Cheltenham Monday 26th November - Wednesday 28th November 2012.
